I’m New

Welcome

We’d love to meet you, we hope you would like to visit and be with us at CFC. You will be very welcome, whether you are just visiting, new to the area, looking for a church to call home or wanting to find out more about the Christian faith. This page should help you to know what to expect if you come to one of our Sunday services. We hope you will enjoy being with us, and if you have questions or need someone to talk to or pray with you please don’t hesitate to ask. If you have any specific questions before you come, please get in contact with us via our Contact page on this website.

We meet every Sunday at 10.30am and 6.00pm, to worship God and connect with him, learn from his word through Bible-based teaching, pray and spend time together. We have Sunday School for children at our morning services. You can find us at our church hall on Lon Ednyfed, Criccieth, LL52 0AL.

Dress

We are informal, there is no dress code, just come as you are and feel comfortable

Worship

We sing a good mixture of traditional hymns and contemporary songs led by our worship group, which express our worship and love of God and our thankfulness to Him

Teaching

At every service we have a talk based on the Bible and personal experiences of following Jesus, which is relevant to everyday life

Prayer

We have prayer during the services when we talk to God and at the end of the service there is opportunity to be prayed for

Communion

As a church we gather round the Lord’s Table twice a month, once in the morning and once in the evening, to remember ‘the Lord’s death, until he comes’. All who love the Lord Jesus and are walking with him, are welcome to join fully with us on these special occasions.

Offering

We do not take an offering during our services. However, at the end of services there is an opportunity to give to the Lord’s work at CFC, either by cash into a collection box or via credit/debit card using a card reader (both of these are at the side of the hall near the entrance). Our bank details can be provided for donations by bank transfer.

Creche and Sunday School

We have a Sunday School at our  morning services, for children up to age 11. We have a creche room for babies and toddlers, if required. We have a CFC Safeguarding policy and all our volunteers working with children and young people are DBS checked.

After the service

We serve tea and coffee at the end of the service which is a chance to chat and share fellowship.
