As Covid 19 continues to impact increasing numbers of people across the nation and indeed across the world we need to be ready to speak to people about the hope that is in us in such unique times.
Two resources, no doubt among many others are
Where is God in a Coronavirus World? by John Lennox
(How belief in a loving and sovereign God helps is to make sense of and cope with the coronavirus outbreak)
John is Professor of Mathematics at Oxford University and has written widely on Christian apologetics. He has debated with the likes of Richard Dawkins and this book, published on Monday and available from The Good Book Company (thegoodbook.co.uk) price £2.54 in paperback or £1.59 as a digital download is very helpful.
The second resource is in video format by Paul Williams from Christchurch Fulwood in Sheffield and is especially helpful for those who wrestle with the question as to how a loving God can ‘allow’ such a thing as Covid 19. This is the first of a series of short videos addressing big questions that people ask which will help us to speak with those we know who are fearful and puzzled by the situation in which we currently find ourselves.
